Update <3

On October 1st I officially launched this blog and began promoting it. Up until then I had soft launched about a month prior and was slowly and quietly building up content, making little tweaks, and getting a feel for what type of posts you guys want to see. The feedback I got in that time was awesome and second only to all the feedback I’ve gotten in the following days since the official launch. I’ve had so many people explore the site and tell me what they thought. It only fuels me and inspires me to do more! I can’t wait to show you guys everything me and my favorite assistant have planned in the next coming weeks so whether you’ve been around for a while or just discovering Love, Mirian now, thanks for joining me and please stick around because I’m always brainstorming new ways to outdo myself and have fun with fashion.

Everyone around me is getting that requisite cold you get when the seasons start changing. It’s safe to say summer has breathed its last breath and fall is here. Realizing that cold temperatures are coming saddens me a bit as I love the warmer months and winters here are so brutal so I thought now would be the perfect time to daydream a little and post my last summer-themed outfit set.

Mary Katrantzou & Adidas Pt II

For part 2 of my feature on Mary Katrantzou’s collaboration with Adidas I wanted to shoot her trackpants and reversible varsity jacket. After mulling over where to shoot it I settled on a rooftop in the heart of Toronto’s West Queen West neighborhood. Almost exactly a year ago to this day Vogue named Toronto’s West Queen West neighborhood as the second coolest neighborhood in the world for their global street style report. This part of the city is where art, fashion, commerce, and coolness all intersect. It’s vibrant and always alive. What better place to shoot a set of pieces that embody all those things as well?
