New Year, New Me?

New year, who dis?

I know I said here that I’m not into New Years Resolutions and I’m still not into the idea of them but I’m a sucker for goal-setting and self improvement and the start of a new year just feels like the right time to look at life, see where I’m at, and what I’d like to work on.

Surviving the Holidaze Pt 1

This time of year can be so crazy! Holiday parties at work and family festivities galore. This is the season for socializing and we all wanna look our best but the last thing anyone wants is to be stuck in the mall looking for a cute outfit among herds of other shoppers. Don’t worry, boo. Seeing Things Differently: New Views on Wearing Fashion

It’s all about picking one color and wearing it head to toe or as close to that as you can come. You can pick one hue and select various tints and shades of it or you can do like I did in this outfit series below and color match it all. Pantone would be so proud. One of the biggest celebrity devotees of monochromatic dressing that I’ve seen display strong examples of it is Kim Kardashian. She is well known for having a penchant for head to toe neutrals like taupe, navy, olive, and cream. I think an easy way to wear this trend without having to shop around too much would be to look for a cute coordinate set sold by fast fashion retailers like Missguided.
